Insufficient Quantity Alerts

This preference allows you to determine how the system informs you that there is not enough inventory items available for sale.

  • When inventory items do not have enough units for sale:
  • Display a list of suggested alternatives - When this preference is set to Yes and there are not enough inventory units for sale, a screen displays and warns you that you do not have enough on hand and allows you to see substitute items.
  • Play a sound - When this preference is set to Yes and there are not enough inventory units for sale, you will hear an audible ding informing you about the situation.
