Hi,

I am trying to figure out where the description field on A/P invoice line items go. There is a `notation` field and a `description` field in the swagger schema.

The software I'm integrating with (Fulcrum) has a notes and description field on the line item and I want to map the Fulcrum description to the the CenterPoint description field and the Fulcrum notes to the CenterPoint notation field. From my testing the description field doesn't actually show up anywhere. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

In my test, the API's Description did go to the Description field in the A/P Invoice UI. However, the UI is set up so that the user can select which fields show up in the UI so it could be that the Description hasn't been chosen.

If you right click on a detail line, the context menu that shows up has an Add/Remove Columns selection. If you aren't seeing the Description, then it could be that the Description column isn't selected.

It just occurred to me that in my test, I entered sales items on the detail lines, not accounts, so I should go back and test that.

Update: I tested with an expense account instead of a sales item on the detail and the Description field (much to my relief) did come across.

Oh yeah, my mistake. Thanks Tony. I added the column and now it's visible on the A/P invoice screen.
