New “Product” Feature Available in CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture Version 12.15
A growing need for raised crop product inputs is traceability. Maintaining products purchased and the ability to provide a list of products applied to each field are often needed. The new “Product” feature added to version 12.15 of CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture allows you to trace those needs. This new feature is available within the program at no additional cost. As crop inputs move from pre-purchase to work-in-process to harvested crops, a product detail flows with the input without additional accounts, so the account list remains clean. Additionally, the product stores customized fields of information, for example EPA registration number, active ingredients, or your own management details such as growing days on seeds. For detailed information, see the Understanding and Using Products document, Understanding and Using Products video, or other Product videos in the Products section here.

Notes from the President

Ken Hilton - President Red Wing Software

I hope you had a joyous holiday season.
January is the busiest month here at Red Wing Software. With everyone closing out 2018, beginning 2019, and making sure their payroll information is up-to-date with the rapidly changing tax calculations, our support lines light up. We have prepared internally to answer the calls from our customers at a rate you’ve come to expect from us. You can help ensure a smooth transition to the new year by reviewing the documents and videos recently posted on our web site, and referred to in this newsletter, that answer frequently asked questions about your software.
I’d like to congratulate our support staff for consistently reaching 92% direct pick-up of calls coming in to our support lines. That percentage has steadily improved over the years to the excellent level it is today. Our entire staff has worked hard to achieve this goal, and they are prepared to continue this high level of service. Please join me in thanking them for their hard work.
All of us at Red Wing Software wish you a happy, prosperous, and safe New Year.

Affordable Care Act (ACA) Information

CenterPoint Payroll features tools to handle the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting. This function within CenterPoint Payroll allows employers to track and report required ACA information for tax filing purposes. The ACA reporting is included within CenterPoint as a standard feature. Please note that Red Wing Windows Payroll users who need to handle ACA reporting are highly encouraged to migrate to CenterPoint Payroll, as ACA reporting will not be available within Red Wing Windows Payroll software. To receive more information about upgrading to CenterPoint Payroll, please call 800-732-9464, or email sales@redwingsoftware.com.
