CenterPoint Remove Transaction History Service Available

Red Wing Software is now offering a service to remove transaction history from your CenterPoint database(s) for any number of fiscal years and keep your beginning balances, outstanding payables, and receivables. Here are some reasons why you might want to remove transaction history.
• The SQL Express database is approaching the 10 GB Microsoft SQL Express database limit. (SQL Express is the default version installed on CenterPoint systems).
• Remove history that exceeds statutory retention requirements.
• After removing transaction history, you can clean up master files without history. (Master files include Customers, Vendors, Employees, Projects, Profit Centers, etc.).
• In some cases, there will be improved performance.
Normally, Red Wing Software can perform the remove transaction history service in an afternoon and get the database back to you by noon the next day. It may take longer if your database contains three or more companies. The service is offered at no charge to customers.
If you are using SQL Express, and your system contains 8GB or more of history, or you simply notice a system slow down, you may want to consider having transaction history removed.
To check the size of your database in CenterPoint, please follow these steps.
• Select Help > About.
• Select the Server information tab.
• To determine the size of the database, look at the DB Size column.

• Katrina (Customer Service Representative), her husband, Josh, and friends, surprised their daughters by meeting at the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, KS! The look on their faces was priceless.
• Julie (Implementation Consultant) and her family climbed Mt. Bierstadt in Colorado. Pictured are sons Jackson and Joey relaxing after the climb.
• Allison (Customer Service Representative) and best friend, Mollie, having some fun at another great friend’s wedding over Labor Day.
• Cori (Quality Assurance Analyst) and Ryan (Graphic Designer) just purchased a new home. They can't wait to make it their own.

Online Classroom Training

Due to COVID-19, Red Wing Software converted our in-person CenterPoint Classroom Training to an online format. Online Classroom Training is the most comprehensive way to learn how to use CenterPoint and provides you with in-depth information and explanations from any location where you can access the internet (high-speed internet connection recommended). The sessions are presented live by one of our CenterPoint experts while you view the presenter's computer screen. You will have the opportunity to ask questions.
You can view and register for available sessions from our website, by selecting Menu > Classroom Training (under 'Services' on the top right-hand side of the menu), or by clicking one of the links below.
CenterPoint Payroll
This training is a two-part 8-hour live online session held on consecutive days for a total cost of $150.00 (4 hours/$75.00 for each part) and will be limited to 15 participants.

Any mail sent to the long-expired PO box will likely not reach Red Wing Software. Please note that the PO box address should not be listed in the address at all.
