Woods Hill Farms was featured in Dairy Star’s World Dairy Expo Special Edition, in the September 9th, 2017 issue. In a story entitled “Eight Dairies Featured in WDE Virtual Farm Tours,” Woods Hill Farms is a 134 acre farm and is hosting a tour on October 7th.

Sunburst Dairy Featured in Progressive Dairyman

Sunburst Dairy was featured in the September 12, 2017 issue of Progressive Dairyman. In the story “Chick Day Event Inspires Farm Women to Shine in Various Ways,” Yogi Brown of Sunburst Dairy was one of several participants who shared her personal story about farm transition.

• Ryan (Graphic Designer ) and Cori (Quality Assurance Analyst) celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a trip to Duluth, MN.
• Julie (Sales Engineer) traveled to Kansas to be with her great niece Colette while her mom had her new brother Caleb. She also did the Apple Cider Century 100‑mile bike ride with her son Joey and his girlfriend Somer.
• Katrina (Administrative Assistant) and family enjoyed the Minnesota State Fair for the first time as a family!

TLK Dairy Featured in Progressive Dairyman

TLK Dairy, a Red Wing Software customer, was featured in the August 7, 2017 issue of Progressive Dairyman, in the story New Drive-over Commodity Delivery Bridge a First in the U.S. The story details the first-in-the-nation indoor feed mixing center on a dairy to feature a drive-over commodity delivery bridge.

• Julie (Sales Engineer) and her friend, April, completed the 21st Annual Naperville Rotary Ride! They completed the 62 (metric century) mile route. The ride benefits Rotary International's Campaign to End Polio and two local charities: Loaves & Fishes/Naperville CARES, and Naperville Responds For Veterans.
• Jada's (Technical Support Specialist) daughter, Ava, and friend, Anna, won the Red Wing’s Got Talent show.
• Mike (Quality Assurance Manager) and his family traveled to Columbia, Missouri, to see the total eclipse.
• Carole (Staff Accountant) participated in an all breed open horse show with her 15-year-old Arabian gelding and took home first place awards in all five of the speed event classes they competed in.
