Behind the Scenes - April 2016 12 May 2016 StephanieE Behind the Scenes Stephanie (Marketing) has been helping teach a class of high school students how to build and market an app. Mark’s (Support Technician) son Caleb (second in from the left) and Stephanie’s son Luke (second in from the right) were a part of the group. The group competed against teams of seasoned app builders, at the Red Wing Ignite Cup, an app building competition, and came in a close 2nd and have been encouraged to apply for the Minnesota Cup competition. Roxie (Administration) and her husband enjoyed a vacation to California, visiting relatives, beaches and just taking time to smell the roses! Jayme (Support Technician) and friends had a relaxing vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico. Jada’s (Support Technician) son, Lane, attended the AMA National Champion Banquet in Ohio. He received two awards - 1st Place in the 50 Class and 3rd Place in the 85 Class for Youth Motorcycle Hillclimbing.
Behind the Scenes at Red Wing Software - March 2016 26 April 2016 StephanieE Behind the Scenes Julie’s (Sales Engineer) son Joey’s college team won the CCIW Indoor Conference Track Championship. Joey is one of the team captains and competes in vaulting. This was the first time the school has won the indoor championship. Connie’s (Technical Writing) oldest daughter was recently made the Captain of the University of Wisconsin Platteville dance team for 2016-2017. Roxie (Administrative Assistant) and her husband Steve welcomed granddaughter Vada Marie. Having four wonderful grandsons already, it was fun to shop for pink, ruffles and bling!
Behind the Scenes at Red Wing Software - February 2016 15 March 2016 StephanieE Behind the Scenes Many Red Wing employees collected hygiene items to donate for our local Youth Outreach center whose supplies were low. Janet (Sales) enjoyed horseback riding in Tucson, AZ. She was very happy they didn’t see a snake. Mike (QA Manager) traveled to Iowa for his daughter Kadence's dance competition. Tony (Programming) shared a photo of his home in Pennsylvania after the January blizzard went by. Connie's (Technical Writing) youngest daughter danced in the Minnesota State Dance Competition at the Target Center on both the Jazz and High Kick dance teams. Stephanie (Marketing) was appointed as a board member for the Port Authority in Red Wing, Minnesota. The Port Authority helps promote economic growth in the city of Red Wing.
Behind the Scenes - January 2016 15 February 2016 StephanieE Behind the Scenes Mark (Sales) welcomed a new granddaughter Hazel just before Christmas. Katrina (Admin) was happily surprised on Christmas Eve when her husband Josh who is in the Air Force and stationed in Rapid City, SD unexpectedly pulled in the driveway. Chad, (Sales) his wife Rachel and son Brik announced they are expecting and due in July. Mark (Support) son Jacob (6 yrs old) hit the slopes for the first time. Julie (Sales Engineer) was voted President-Elect of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants.
Behind the Scenes - December 2015 25 January 2016 StephanieE Behind the Scenes Stephanie (Marketing) will be teaching a TechovationMN class - to teach high school students how to develop and build an app. Winners could compete on a national level. Many Red Wing Software employees and their significant others from our Red Wing location enjoyed a fun company Christmas party that included dinner and a play at The Sheldon Theatre. Ryan (Marketing) and Cori (QA) took their son, Liam, on the North Pole Express. Liam is obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine, and was so excited to ride on a real life steam train.
