The training will be offered as two 4-hour live online sessions on consecutive days and will be limited to 10 participants. Be on the look-out for registration information coming soon!

Online Training Sessions - June 2020

We are pleased to offer our Red Wing Software customers an opportunity to learn more about CenterPoint via Online Training sessions. Online Training sessions provide you with in-depth information and explanations that allow you to learn more about CenterPoint from any location where you can access the internet (high-speed internet connection recommended). The sessions are presented live by one of our CenterPoint experts while you view the presenter's computer screen. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. The sessions are recorded and sent to you so you can refer to the information afterward.

This gives you the flexibility to access the training at any point after the original live session was offered. The pre-recorded On Demand Training Video sessions can be purchased with 30-day access and can be viewed as many times as you like during the 30 days.

NEW: Sign into Online Services from ‘My Account’

Red Wing Software has now made it easier for customers to log into online services for Publish Pay Advices, CenterPoint Time Clock, Red Wing Cloud Service, etc. Links to all online services are now available on the ‘My Account’ page. To access the links to your online services:
Go to the Red Wing Software website: https://www.redwingsoftware.com.
Click Log in. Enter your Email Address/Password and click Login. The My Member Account page will display.
OR
If you are logged into the Red Wing Software website, select Welcome, (your name) and then select My Account Home to display the My Member Account page.
In the Online Services section, direct login links are provided for customers who are subscribed to the services, and there is also a list of online services available for those who are not subscribed.

Affordable Care Act (ACA) Information

CenterPoint Payroll features tools to handle the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting. This function within CenterPoint Payroll allows employers to track and report required ACA information for tax filing purposes. The ACA reporting is included within CenterPoint as a standard feature. Please note that Red Wing Payroll users who need to handle ACA reporting are highly encouraged to migrate to CenterPoint Payroll, as ACA reporting will not be available within Red Wing Payroll software. Urgent Red Wing Payroll 2020 Form W-4 Information

The IRS recently released a new Form W-4 for 2020 with significant changes from the previous Form W-4. Rather than specifying withholding allowances, employees provide employers with amounts to increase or reduce taxes and amounts to increase or decrease wages subject to income tax withholding. Submitting a 2020 Form W-4 is optional for current employees. By default, Red Wing Payroll will continue to use the marital status and allowances that are setup for your employees in 2019 to calculate taxes based on the 2020 tax tables. However, due to technology limitations, Red Wing Payroll cannot be updated to perform the new required calculations to support the 2020 Form W‑4.

Important Options for Red Wing Payroll and the 2020 Form W‑4:
At your discretion, continue to use the 2019 Form W‑4 with the 2020 tax table update you recently received for Red Wing Payroll. The 2020 tax update does NOT include support for the 2020 Form W-4. By default, Red Wing Payroll will continue to use the marital status and allowances that are set up for your employees in 2019 to calculate taxes based on the 2020 tax tables.
For employees that submit a 2020 Form W-4, use the IRS Income Tax Withholding Assistant for Employers to manually calculate the amount of Federal income tax to withhold from the employee wages. Click here for additional information.
