Online Classroom Training

Online Classroom Training is the most comprehensive way to learn to use CenterPoint programs. These sessions offer the same curriculum as the live Classroom Training seminars. The format has been altered to better suit online learning. Sessions are limited to four hours per day and run over multiple business days. Attendees join a scheduled Online Classroom Training session with other Red Wing Software users. Sessions are presented by an experienced Red Wing Software instructor.

CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture
  November 8, 9, 15, 16, and 17, 2022
9:00 am – 1:00 pm CST
Cost: $300.00
This training is a four-part, 16-hour live online session held on multiple days for a total cost of $300.00 (4 hours/$75.00 for each part) and will be limited to 15 participants. An optional 2-hour bonus session is included at no additional cost and will be held on the day after the course concludes.
Note: The session materials will be available one week before this event on 11/1/22.
CenterPoint Payroll
  November 29 and 30, 2022
9:00 am – 1:00 pm CST
Cost: $150.00
This is a two-part, 8-hour live online sessions held over consecutive days for a total cost of $150.00 ($75.00/4 hours for each part) and will be limited to 15 participants.
Note: The session materials will be available one week before this event on 11/22/22.

Online Training

We are pleased to offer our Red Wing Software customers an opportunity to learn more about CenterPoint via 1‑2 hour Online Training sessions. These sessions provide you with in-depth information and explanations that allow you to learn more about CenterPoint from any location where you can access the internet (high-speed internet connection recommended). The sessions are presented live by one of our CenterPoint experts while you view the presenter's computer screen. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. A pre-recorded session will be sent to you so you can refer to the information afterward.

Red Wing Software Releases CenterPoint Time Clock Web Version 3.0

Red Wing Software announces the release of CenterPoint Time Clock web version 3.0. This update includes many new enhancements to make the CenterPoint Time Clock experience better for payroll administrators, supervisors and employees.
• Time entry is faster and more accurate for employees with the ability to set default pay entry information, rather than selecting from a list each day.
• View only the time cards you want to see with date filters that can be set, by default, to an activity range of your choice.
• Supervisors can now add notes when approving or denying time-off requests and time.
• Process payroll without interruption by allowing alternate supervisors to approve time cards and time-off requests in the absence of an employee's regular supervisor.
• Easily register, one time, across multiple payroll services (Publish Pay Advices, CenterPoint Employee Portal, and CenterPoint Time Clock).

Employee Spotlight - Carrie Armstrong

My name is Carrie Armstrong, and I am the Administrative Assistant for Red Wing Software. Chances are when you call in; I am the voice on the other end. I have been here for just over three years. I am from Red Wing, Minnesota, originally and have lived here my whole life. I have been married for 22 years to my husband Lucas, and we have two children: Jasmyn, who is 21 and Myles, who is 19 years old. We have one dog Bentley, and two cats, Loki and Binx. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Most recently, I became a grandma for the very first time. On July 4th this little firecracker came into the world weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz. and 19.25” long. Her name is Maren Elizabeth, and she is absolutely the light of my life. I think there have only been three days that I have not stopped by to see her since she was born. I am fortunate that my daughter and her husband live less than a mile away from me, and it’s on my way home, so I can use the excuse, “I was just driving by and thought I’d stop to say hi”. Ha ha ha!
I love my job at Red Wing Software and look forward to speaking with you when you call in!!!
