CenterPoint Payroll allows customers to file electronically, and information for tax forms is pulled directly from the information within CenterPoint Payroll. That information is then seamlessly placed onto the form on your computer, where forms can be saved, and can then be filed electronically via the internet. With this method, there are no stamps, forms or envelopes to be purchased. Also, filing happens instantly so there is no time delay for the mail. Filing electronically can also save significant time during the payroll process. Make this your year to increase efficiency during your tax form filing process, and give electronic filing a try!

Year-End Tax Forms

As the end of 2022 approaches, we would like to suggest the forms, perforated paper, and envelopes that you may need to purchase for processing W-2s, 1099s, and ACA forms (for CenterPoint Payroll only). Forms, perforated paper, and envelopes can be purchased from Computer Forms, Inc. at redwing.computerforms.biz, by calling 800‑458‑0158, or by clicking the Order Checks and Forms icon on the Red Wing Software website. All 2022 forms are 25% off until December 31, 2022 (use promotion code RWCFITD when ordering).
From the Computer Forms, Inc. website, select Tax Forms, select the product you use, for example, CenterPoint or TurningPoint, and then select Order Laser W-2 Forms, Order Laser 1099 Forms, or Order ACA-1095 Forms (for CenterPoint only) to display the W-2, 1099 or ACA forms, perforated paper, and envelopes.
Note: The W-2 and 1099 forms (excluding the Federal Red Copy) can be printed on the same plain perforated paper (if you choose to order the blank perforated paper with no backer instructions) and use the same envelope. You can print the W-2 and 1099 forms on plain paper, but the IRS recommends the forms be printed on perforated paper. The W-3 can be printed on blank plain paper.

My name is Allison Eisbach, and I am an Accounting Support Specialist at Red Wing Software. I have been with the company for three years. I am from Red Wing, Minnesota but currently reside in Tomah, Wisconsin. I am hoping to purchase a home and make it back to the Red Wing area soon. I am a bartender at Hay Creek Saloon and Campground on the side and a mom to not human babies but pets. I currently have three horses: Jetta (Black Morgan; 16), Ramzi (Bay Arabian; 9), and Bella (Grey Quarter Horse; 18), two Great Danes: Axel (Dark Fawn Mantle) and Oakley (Light Fawn Mantle) they are brothers and will be a year old on December 2nd, three cats: Daffy (white and grey medium hair), Minnie (tan/champagne medium hair), and Mittens (grey domestic; he has five toes), and last but not least I have a three-year-old piebald python snake. I have my own little zoo!
In my spare time, when I am not working or caring for my pets, I enjoy pulling out my horse trailer and going for a trail ride or heading to a barrel race. When I’m not riding my horses, I will spend a couple of summer nights a week playing sand volleyball. Once winter comes around, I start bowling league (I average currently around 180). If I ever find a spare minute, I will pull out one of my two motorcycles and take a spin down some backroads to enjoy the wind in my face and the crisp air. I am a busy bee and am incapable of sitting still, so you will hardly ever catch me doing nothing. I always find something to do or work on… life is a never-ending task.

CenterPoint Version 17.9 Release

We are excited to introduce the release of CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture and CenterPoint Payroll version 17.9. This update is currently being rolled out. If you have not received the update yet, it will be available to you soon. In addition to the functionality listed below, numerous changes are included, that will make the product easier to use and more efficient. See the links below to view all new changes.
• CenterPoint Accounting for Agriculture:
◦ Improved the efficiency of displaying payments and receipt transactions to make the job of paying/receiving invoices faster.
◦ Save time while budgeting with improvements made to the Microsoft® Excel import/export process to produce single production detail budgets.
◦ Expanded the Invoice Designer customization capabilities with the addition of Custom Name Fields and Production Center Details.
◦ Save time and money on paper 1099 processing when vendors consent to view electronic 1099s.

◦ Full employee audit log capabilities allow you to view all changes made to an employee's configuration for improved accountability.
◦ Calculated overtime allows more flexibility while entering pay with the addition of new columns (Profit Center, Production Center, Production Series, Production Year, and Project).
◦ Ensure deduction limits aren't exceeded with the new combined contribution limits feature for improved accuracy.
◦ Save time finding payroll checks/advices for reprinting with the addition of filtering for specific employees.
◦ Expanded the break pay setup capabilities to include customized settings by hours/total break (minutes) to accommodate state break pay mandates.

• CenterPoint Time Clock:
◦ Determine how employee groups can enter their time (mobile apps or website) giving you additional control and location accuracy.
◦ Employees and supervisors can now view current leave balances to aid decision-making when entering or approving time off requests.
◦ Process payroll more efficiently with the ability to import time cards by department rather than waiting for all departments to be completed.
◦ For added payroll control and security, a new setting allows you to restrict entry/edit of time, or notify an administrator if employees enter/edit time before a specified date.
