• Carole (Staff Accountant) competed in an obstacle competition hosted by the St. Croix Mounted Sheriff’s Posse with her Arabian horse RTR Thunder Lord (AKA Blackie). He placed 10th out of 60 exhibitors! In the pictured obstacle the barrels were stacked tall and they had to “bowl” them all over and then walk through the downed barrels.
• Matt's (Sales) daughter, Lena, performed with the Rosemount High School Marching Band where they were crowned 2019 Youth in Music Grand Champions and MN State Champions.
• Julie (Sales Engineer) enjoyed the wedding of her son, Joey, and new daughter-in-law, Somer.
• Katrina's (Customer Service Representative) daughter, Kyla, and Carrie (Administrative Assistant) packed shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child at Roxie’s (Administrative Assistant) 59.9th Birthday Packing Party.

How do you know if you’re doing something the best way, if you’ve only tried one way to do it? Look at any important process in your organization and think about a way to change it. You might be surprised to find out the way you’ve been performing that process isn’t the best way.
You may ask someone to be more efficient, at a lower cost, or with fewer errors, but is the system they are working in allowing them to accomplish any of these results? Trying one or more alternatives to a given process might produce the results you’re looking for, or even better results than expected.
At Red Wing Software, we never assume that there is only one way to accomplish a task. We constantly challenge our staff and debate new ways to improve, move new requests for changes through the process faster, or make our software faster, easier to use, with fewer errors, etc. Sometimes we need to think outside the box and try some ideas that feel a little strange at first. Quite often this exercise yields a result that wouldn’t have been considered without a group of us throwing out ideas and hammering through to a conclusion.
Try it. You might be surprised. I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but a wise customer told me once, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always be where you already are.”

Centerpoint Accounting for Agriculture has fit our farming operation very well. We are diversified into many entities. CenterPoint keeps all the entities separate but can be combined in reports when needed. We are able to track income and expenses down to the acre. Many reports are available and can be adapted to fit our needs. The ability to export out reports is really great, especially when sending to our accountant. This saves dollars!
The CenterPoint support staff is readily available and knowledgeable. Being able to access my computer has sure helped find solutions quicker. CenterPoint Payroll is efficient and keeps updated when taxes change. There is so much depth to what can be done within CenterPoint. You can get as detailed as you want. The addition of Virtual Classroom Training Classes has been helpful.
I especially appreciate how Red Wing Software listens to its customers with constant upgrades. So many quick shortcuts have been added over the years.
